Cosmetic Dentistry
We believe a visit to the dentist is more than an errand or something to check off your to-do list – rather, it’s a loving act of self-care.
Smile Makeover
Smile makeover is a Full Mouth Rehabilitation (FMR) that is intended to give you the smile of your dreams. As with any restoration, each FMR case arrives with its own unique history and necessarily requires a bespoke approach. Simply stated, we relish the close collaboration with our patients that FMR requires and we look forward to working with you to achieve your ideal outcome.
We welcome the opportunity to share with you our many success stories with patients and also to give you as much information about FMR as you may find helpful so you can best determine if is right for you.
Veneers
Veneers are an excellent way to redesign and reshape your smile. One of the reasons veneers are so popular is their extreme versatility in the hands of a skilled practitioner to be used to create variety of aesthetic outcomes. Veneer is a very thin ceramic shell that covers your existing tooth structure. Sometimes it’s as thick as a contact lens. By placing these customized and artistically created coverings on your teeth, we are able to eliminate the issues of enamel staining, cracked teeth, spaces, misaligned teeth, chipped teeth and many others.
The process to place veneers takes approximately three visits. During the first visit, we will discuss your individual goals and vision for your new smile. Relying heavily on your input, we will create the new shape and look of what we are going to accomplish by placing the veneers. Our cutting edge technology (PreVu software) allows us to make a simulation of your smile and show you your new look. Once we have a plan in place, we will carefully shape your teeth for the placement of the new veneers.
As we complete this piece of the process, the next step is to take an impression of the newly prepared teeth. This impression will be sent to our master laboratory technician for the final product to be fabricated. While the new veneers are being designed at the lab, we will provide you with a beautiful temporary solution to wear.
After wearing the new smile for a few days you will come back to provide feedback on the look of your smile. We want to make sure that you are in love with your new smile. Customized artistic process at the laboratory takes between 10-14 days.
As the veneers are finalized, we will make every effort to make sure that your new veneers will feel just like your natural teeth. We will bond them into place ensuring that you can enjoy your new smile for a very long time! We will see you in one or two days to put the finishing touches to your smile! Veneers if treated properly can last up to 15 years.
No Prep Veneers
This treatment can be exciting news for some people as it minimizes the number of visits necessary to complete the cosmetic makeover. The “no prep” in “no prep veneers” means the tooth does not require any reshaping before the veneer is applied, translating to fewer visits. If you are a candidate for no prep veneers, we can go straight to designing and applying the veneers that we’ll use to create your dazzling new smile.

Zoom Whitening
Keeping our teeth their whitest is a lot harder than it sounds. With all the coffee, wine, smoking and foods that have the ability to stain our teeth on a daily basis, even proper maintenance sometimes leaves them a little lackluster. Teeth whitening is an excellent way to restore the natural color of your teeth or even make them whiter than your natural color if you would like.
At Novello Dentistry we use what is widely recognized as the world’s most effective teeth whitening system: Zoom whitening. Zoom offers cost-effective solutions from phenomenal home whitening for average patients, to astonishing treatment of tetracycline cases and everything in between. Due to advanced formulation and special preservation techniques, there’s almost no sensitivity associated with this type of whitening.
Bonding/Tooth Colored Bonding
Bonding is a popular method to enhance the aesthetics of your smile. Bonding can be used to correct cracks or gaps in teeth, as a filling after a decay has been removed or to cover up stains or discolored teeth.
Bonding involves the use of a composite resin on the affected tooth or teeth. The resin is molded and sculpted over an adhesive bonding layer that is placed on the tooth. After the natural colored resin has been applied an, LED light is used to harden the resin, which is then meticulously polished and shaped to give you a fresh, new smile.
As part of our commitment to the overall health of our patients, we do not use bonding materials that include mixed metals and mercury. A natural dental filling is a tooth-colored material that is made from ceramic or glass and plastic resin composite. It is a safe, affordable, and attractive solution for many dental problems.
